Humane Society’s Bark in the Park

VERO BEACH — Strut your mutt and have lots of fun on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. That’s when The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County’s second annual Bark In The Park will take place at Vero Beach’s beautiful Riverside Park.

This family friendly, dog friendly, free event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Make sure to check out the world famous Disc-Connected K9 Frisbee dog and American iDogs Lure Coursing shows, eat great food, meet shelter pups available for adoption, and buy cool pet related items from local vendors.

The event includes balloons and face painting for the kids.

Riverside Park is located at 3001 Riverside Park Dr. in Vero Beach.

Want to also help Indian River County animals in need? Bark In The Park will also include a dog walk fundraiser to help the animals of Indian River County. Sign up to become part of a “pack” and help animals just by walking your dog. How cool is that?

Last year, more than 3,000 people and their pups had fun at Bark In The Park. This year, we hope you’ll join us.
