VERO BEACH — Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre will preview its all new show “Memories & Milestones,” 50 years of musical hits from the ’40s through the ’80s, on New Year’s Eve, 2013.
There are two seatings available on Dec. 31. The early dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. with the show at 6 p.m.; the later dinner begins at 8:30 p.m. with a 10 p.m. show.
Tickets are $25 per person for the show with the purchase of dinner off the 14th Avenue Steakhouse’s select a la carte menu. Located at 2023 14th Ave. in the heart of the historic art district in downtown Vero, the dinner theatre is accessed from the west parking lot off 15th Ave.
The cast of professional singers includes veteran performers Patty Carreau, Eleanor Dixon, Beth McKenzie-Shestak, and Shamara Turner.
Just a few of the memorable songs in the revue include Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Apple Blossom Time, Three Coins in a Fountain, Mockingbird Hill, Welcome to the ’60s, Under the Boardwalk, To Sir With Love, YMCA, Total Eclipse of the Heart, and ’80s Ladies.
The five decades represented in music are punctuated with snippets of dialogue featuring milestones and trivia that evoke memories of those bygone eras.
The select a la carte menu for New Year’s Eve includes appetizers, a choice of 5 entrees, as well as an array of desserts. Dinner includes gorgonzola salad served family style and baked potato.
