The Core of the Community at The Moorings

VERO BEACH — Merrimack-Webster defines “core” as a central and often foundational part usually distinct from the enveloping part by a difference in nature; the central part.

2a: a basic, essential, or enduring part of an individual, a class, or an entity. Education cuts to the core of our existence as Americans. It’s opportunity has shaped this country and impacted the world.

The Education Foundation of IRC Benefit will be hosting dinner, entertainment, and a live auction at The Moorings Club on Nov. 16 from 6:30-11 p.m.

For tickets and information, please visit the website at www.EdFoundationIRC.org or call (772)  564-0034.

Education has played a central role in the history and development of our country. Since the founding of the first public school, Boston Latin, in 1635, the growth and expansion of education have provided the opportunity for people of all gender, ethnicity, and creeds to improve the quality of their lives.

Education is the intellectual food for thought that each generation has the responsibility to cultivate.

The Education Foundation of Indian River County programs and activities continue to support the American tradition of providing quality, learning opportunities for our students and their teachers.

Gather your friends, celebrate with us, and join the “core.”
