In the last two weeks I’ve seen two odd scenes in crosswalks, one, thankfully, I was not in my car. It’s odd timing because I’ve been seeing more people talk about the Beatles’ photo as they cross on Abbey Road in London.
The first, which I wish I had my camera out for, was a squirrel crossing in the crosswalk obeying the rules to keep pedestrians safe. This aggravated me a little, because I see so many pedestrians that almost get hit, or do get hit by cars because they don’t obey or follow common sense.
Then, covering Sebastian’s Halloween Celebration, I saw Chris Wolack and Shawn Durrant, crossing Indian River Drive. Besides the fact that this was the coolest costume I’ve seen in a while, I love the fact that Wolack was waving Durrant across, most likely because he couldn’t see.
