VERO BEACH — On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Riverside Theatre will be offering local auditions for adults for Miss Saigon.
Looking for males of all ethnicities, however, all female roles are Asian. Will portray American GIs of all types, pimps, Asian bar girls, refugees, tourists, etc.
Casting for South Pacific will be males and females of all ethnicities for principal and ensemble roles.
The following are expected:
Preparation of 16-32 bars cut of a song in the style of the show; accompanist provided
Bring music in correct key; accompanist will not transpose
AEA actors will be seen first

The first rehearsal Friday for Miss Saigon will be Dec. 27. Opening day is Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 and closing Sunday, Feb. 2.
The first rehearsal Monday for South Pacific will be Jan. 27, 2014. Opening day is Tuesday, Feb. 18, and closing Sunday, March 9, with a possible one week extension until March 16.
Riverside Children’s Theatre is offering local auditions for kids on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 3-5 p.m.
Must prepare a song of choice in the style of the show, accompanist provided.
For Miss Saigon, seeking 4 kids: Tom, Kim, Chris’s three year old son, and other ensemble children.
For South Pacific, seeking 2 kids, children of Emile de Becque, ages 8-11, mixed ethnicities only.
