SRA receives $12,500 from John’s Island Foundation

VERO BEACH — The Board of Directors at the John’s Island Foundation have granted the Senior Resource Association’s (SRA) request for dollars to develop a new conference room.

The $12,500 grant will help to provide a professional on-site group space that offers flexibility in its use as a training room, conference or meeting space.

“We are extremely thankful to have the John’s Island Foundation in our community to generously donate dollars for capital projects to various non-profit organizations like the Senior Resource Association. They are helping us build our capacity within the organization and throughout the community,” said Karen Deigl, SRA President & CEO.

The funds from this grant will allow SRA to adequately and frequently assemble their Board of Directors, committees, community partners, employees, and constituents in addressing the operational needs and development of the Senior Resource Association and its mission.

Additionally, the room could also serve other non-profits and small businesses who have the need for meeting or training space.
