Hibiscus Festival receives Dyer Difference Award

VERO BEACH — Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 59th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award: Main Street Vero Beach; The Hibiscus Festival.

This award salutes a non-profit organization in Indian River County that makes a difference in our community. Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to the April recipient, Main Street Vero Beach.

The Hibiscus Festival was attended by upwards of 12,000 people on April 13. The festival originated in 1953 and was created to celebrate the community in our historic downtown.

All proceeds are invested in Main Street Vero Beach projects to insure the downtown area is preserved and continues to grow into a vibrant culture center for the city.

“Our downtown is the centerpiece for our city, and Will and I are happy we can help keep it beautiful,” Tatiana Dyer said.
