VERO BEACH — Indian River Mall and 97.1 Ocean FM will host the Senior Health & Wellness Fair presented by Sanders Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center on Wednesday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This free community event will showcase health related products and services from more than 40 local organizations.
During the event, attendees can learn about health care centers in the community; local activities to get involved in; and health care plans, services, and more.
Participating vendors include: Mederi Care Tenders, Health First Health Plans, Wellcare, Wellmed, Advanced Motion Therapeutic, and many more.
At 11 a.m., seniors can try their luck with a game of Food Court Bingo and at 1 p.m., join in a live Zumba class.
East Coast Clinical will also be on-site in the former Lady Footlocker store from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide lab work, including CBC, comprehensive metabolic profiles, lipid, and PSA treatments for $25-$35.
“We are excited to provide seniors with the opportunity to visit Indian River Mall to learn about the various services available to them right here in Vero Beach,” said Ursula Gunter, director of mall marketing.
The event is free and open to the public.
