Mildred A. Winne, 89, died Feb. 20, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Garfield, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years coming from Yardley, Pa.
She retired from a career that included personnel management, employee relations, guidance counseling, office management and business ownership.
Survivors include her son, James M. Avery, of Fort Lauderdale; daughter, Barbara J. Kapral, of Montville, N.J.; stepdaughters, Lisa W. Gale, of Bel Air, Md, and Susan J. Newell, of Hershey, Pa.; stepsons Mark G. Winne, of Sante Fe, N.M. and Eric E. Winne, of Georgetown, Maine; sister June Kennedy, of Basking Ridge, N.J.; brother, Joseph L. Oliva, of Bellevue, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene.

Services will be private.
