INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Recreation Department will be hosting three free “specialty” egg hunts as a part of the “Egg” Stravaganza Festival week this spring.
These hunts will be held throughout the entire county. One of the hunts will be held in a swimming pool; the other two will be held in the dark.
North County – The North County Aquatic Center

“Water Egg Hunt”
Age: infants – 8
March 25 – 6:30 p.m.
On March 25 at 6:30 p.m., the north county will have a “Water” Egg Hunt at the North County Aquatic Center (1 1/2 miles east of I95 on CR 512.) The children’s swimming area will be covered in plastic Easter eggs that will float on the water’s surface for the children to “scoop up.” Please remember to bring your swimsuits and towels. And please, no plastic bags.
Central County- The Gifford Youth Activity Center – GYAC

Indoor “Flashlight”
Egg Hunt
March 26 – 7:45 p.m.
Age: infants – 12
Bring your flashlight to the Gifford Youth Activity Center (GYAC) for a “Flashlight” Egg Hunt on March 26 at 7:45 p.m. The lights in the gym of the GYAC will be turned off, and the flashlights will be turned on during this very special egg hunt.
Please remember to bring a flashlight and a basket for this hunt.
South County – South County Park

Outdoor “Flashlight Hunt”
“Egg” Stravaganza
March 28 – 7:45 p.m.
Age: infants – 8
Bring your flashlights because on March 28, South County will be the host site for the county’s second “Outdoor Flashlight Egg Hunt.”
That’s right. The egg hunt will be held in the dark. This promises to be the most unique and largest egg hunt on the Treasure Coast. The “Egg” stravaganza will start at 7:45 p.m., and prizes will be awarded to all participants. Golden eggs and special Easter baskets will be given in all age groups.
Please remember to bring a flashlight and a basket to this hunt.
