Riverside Theatre announces new Board of Directors

VERO BEACH — Riverside Theatre’s Board of Trustees announced the new slate of officers for the 2013 calendar year at their year-end board meeting on Jan. 28. The meeting was followed by a reception for spouses and theatre staff in the theatre lobby.

Heidi Waxlax was elected President of the Board. Gay Bain, David Baldwin, and William P. Scully serve as Vice Presidents with H. Theodore Meyer as Secretary and Raymond J. McGowan as Treasurer.

“I am extremely honored to have been selected by this distinguished group to be the next President. Riverside Theatre has been a passion of mine for quite some time. I have been involved in many aspects and have enjoyed each facet tremendously. I’m excited to be of service and flattered to follow in the footsteps of the august list of past presidents,” said Mrs. Waxlax.

The 2013 Board of Trustees also includes: Scott Alexander, Jay Ames, Anita Astrachan, Samuel H. Bell, Jr., Deborah Berghorst, Joseph C. Briggs, James L. Currie, E. Martin Gibson, Nancy Goodes, Louis T. Hagopian, Rosemary D. Haverland, David Horner, Ronald F. Hunt, Julius Jensen, Ann L. Jones, E. Bradley Jones, William W. Lane, Marilyn McConnell, Christopher Mortenson, Vinny Olmstead, Roberta Olsen, Deborah Peniston, Judy Schneebeck, S. Van Zandt Schreiber, Emily L. Sherwood, Anna Bain Slater, Richard A. Stark, Richard W. Stockton, Dhuanne Tansill, John W. Taylor, III, Thomas W. Tierney, Patrick Toole, Pat Welsh, Gail Williams, and Fred Wonham.

The board also includes Allen D. Cornell, CEO/Producing Artistic Director of Riverside Theatre and Jon R. Moses, COO/Managing Director.

Riverside Theatre is located at 3250 Riverside Park Dr. in Vero Beach.
