VERO BEACH — Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 56th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award: The Vero Beach National Little League.
The Dyer Difference award salutes a 501(C)3 non-profit organization serving Indian River County that is truly making a difference in our community.
Organized Little League Baseball serves children ages 4-12 and depends on support from local sponsors and city government. With city budget constraints, the city was unable to help with lights and water, so costs for the league went up substantially.
Tatiana and Will Dyer, on behalf of Dyer Chevrolet, Mazda and Subaru, presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to the league.
“It’s important that our youth learn the benefits of teamwork, competition, and sport,” Will Dyer said.
