William Augustine Malloy, 90, died Dec. 21, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Waltham, Mass., and moved to Sebastian from Fort Pierce, where he lived since 1984.
Before retirement, he was a foreman at Lord Electric Co., New York City.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since 1941.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater.
He became president of the South Shore Kennel Club, Boston, in 1962.
He received a Gold Life Master Award in 2009 from the American Contract Bridge League.
He oversaw the renovation project when the Vero Beach Club purchased its facility in 1995.
He was founding chairman of the education committee in 1996 and was instrumental in developing the Vero Beach Bridge Club website in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Jovanovich-Malloy, of Sebastian; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Jr.
Inurnment will take place in the family mausoleum in Arizona.
