VERO BEACH — A newly formed support group, “Care for Caregivers,” will meet on Dec. 6 and 20 from 2-4 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Care in Vero Beach.
The group meets twice monthly, the first and third Thursdays of each month. There is no charge.
The role of “caregiver” knows no boundaries. People from all races, religions and none, income brackets, and genders will experience caregiving at some point in their lives.
Whether the caregiver is caring for an adult or a child, part-time or full-time, each caregiver will, at some point, need emotional and community support and information.
The newly formed group “Care for Caregivers” welcomes new participants and is also looking for sponsors so this group can continue to meet monthly and provide an important service to the community.
“Care for Caregivers” is not affiliated with any religion or spiritual group. Its sole purpose is to provide emotional support and guidance to caregivers in the community.
For more information on joining “Care for Caregivers” or sponsoring a session, please call Carol Ludwig, Executive Director of the Center for Spiritual Care, at (772) 567-1233.
The Center for Spiritual Care is located at 1550 24th St. in downtown Vero Beach.
