Chocolate, Champagne and Chefs event Oct. 29 at Quail Valley River Club

VERO BEACH — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indian River County is pleased to announce the presentation of its fourth annual award for philanthropy to United Way of Indian River County and Mr. & Mrs. John Moore at their Chocolate, Champagne and Chefs event to be held on Monday night, October 29, at 6 p.m.

The fundraiser, to be held at the Quail Valley River Club, promises to be both elegant and fun. This year the event will include an elegant seated dinner, champagne, and of course, decadent chocolate dessert samples provided by eight prominent chefs from our area.

This year we have added an exciting raffle including a chocolate diamond ring, a beautiful Del Peterson painting, and many other surprises.

Tickets for the event are $175 per person and may be purchased by calling Big Brothers Big Sisters at (772) 770-6000 or online at www.BBBSBigs.org.

All of the funds raised at this event will support our reading program as well as the “Children of Promise” program, which matches responsible adult mentors with children of incarcerated parents.

The Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters is so grateful for the financial support of both of these individuals/foundations for helping make a huge difference in the lives of children in Indian River County.
