Brit Bash 2012: All British Car & Motorcycle Show coming to Riverside Park Oct. 27

VERO BEACH – What do James Bond and Austin Powers have in common? Cool British cars! If you’re an MG, Triumph, Morgan, Jaguar, Lotus, or Aston Martin car lover, a Norton or BSA Motorcycle fan, or even a James Bond wanabee, you won’t want to miss Brit Bash 2012.

The car show is being held at Riverside Park Saturday, Oct. 27 and is open to all British cars and motorcycles. The show is free and open to spectators from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show’s sponsor, the MG Car Club of Florida, has teamed up with the U.S. Post Office to collect food at the show to help “drive out hunger”.

Show spectators and participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to the show for distribution to local food banks. Show day registration is on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The awards presentation begins at 3 p.m.

Over 100 cars and motorcycles are expected to be on display under the majestic oaks of Riverside Park. Most recognized car classes will be judged and trophies awarded to winners. All British antique and classic cars, motorcycles and vendors must register to participate in the show.
