Hebrew language scholar to present “I, Josephus” at Temple Beth Shalom

VERO BEACH — Dr. Ken Hanson, professor and scholar of Hebrew language, philosophy and religion, will make an appearance at Temple Beth Shalom in Vero Beach as “I, Josephus,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Dr. Hanson teaches Judaic studies at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and philosophy and religion at Rollins College in Winter Park. He is the author of numerous books on the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Essenses, Kabbalah and lost books of the Bible, and is a regular contributor on the History Channel.

He will share some of the stories of Josephus, a 1st Century Roman-Jewish historian.

Admission is free and refreshments will follow his presentation. Temple Beth Shalom is located at 365 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach.
