Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Pawrade & Pet Expo

VERO BEACH — Seacoast National Bank recently became a “Good Dog” sponsor for Dogs For Life’s 11th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Pawrade & Pet Expo to be held October 20 from 2-5 p.m., with the Pawrade at 4 p.m. at DFL’s Off-Leash Dog Park at 12th St. & 16th Ave.

The Howl-O-Ween Pawrade is DFL’s signature annual fundraiser and has drawn over 100 dogs in costume and over 300 spectators for the past three years. This event is supported by business vendor and sponsor participation and is free to the public. 

This year’s Pawrade Sponsor is Dyer Subaru. Our Guest Speaker is IR County Commissioner Gary Wheeler, and Pawrade Grand Marshall will be Vero Beach Mayor Pilar Turner.

Past Howl-O-Ween Pawrade activities included raffle items and prizes for all dogs in costume, military color guard presentation by Veterans of Foreign War Post 3918, a multi-law enforcement K-9 demonstration organized by the IRC Sheriff Department’s K-9 Unit, fun dog shows and other entertainment, a guest speaker, and hot dogs & hamburgers served by the American Vets Post 6.

Dogs For Life, Inc. (DFL), is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to the community by training hearing dogs, service dogs, and owning and managing an off-leash dog park.
