Major Manners Presents Nite-Nite Soldier at Beachland Elementary

VERO BEACH – Major Manners presented Nite-Nite Soldier during their latest read-along at Beachland Elementary for Indian River County’s Literacy Day.

Outhouse Ink Publishing proudly presents it’s third children’s picture book offering, Major Manners Presents Nite-Nite Soldier, written and published in Vero Beach, by husband and wife, Michael and Beth Hofer.

Major Manners Presents Nite-Nite Soldier is for ages four to eight and features a military style cadence that will have children playfully marching to bed with a smile on their face. Parents can lead their troops through the completion of their bedtime mission, or plug in the audio CD and allow Major Manners and his Character Command to take control. With Private Teddy standing guard, children can rest at ease.

Outhouse Ink’s first two chldren’s books incorporate rhymes and picture clues to foster a love of reading.

Abigail the Snail and Her Purple Sock and Abigail the Snail and Her Green Pail help children learn concepts of print, text features, and practice phonemic awareness. Abigail the Snail stories provide preschool-age children with their first opportunity for literacy ownership.

Michael and Beth work with Beth’s sister, Alicia Crisafulli Allamby, who serves as the company’s Art Director for all projects. The group has already begun work on its fourth book, My Daddy’s Harry; scheduled to be released in Fall of 2013.

The Major and his Character Command will be marching into bookstores nationwide later this year, but for now, advance copies of Major Manners Presents Nite-Nite Soldier and both Abigail the Snail board books may be purchased at www.majormanners.com or find them at www.amazon.com.
