Lloyd A. Kolbe, 87, died Aug. 31, 2012.
He was born in Baltimore and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He was a former member First Presbyterian Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie A. Kirkpatrick, of Vero Beach; son, Lloyd J. Kolbe, of Chincoteague, Va.; sister, Ruth Ziegler, of Westminster, Md.; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Kolbe, in 2009.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Vero Beach.
