Antiques and much more in Habitat Home Center’s Silent Auction

VERO BEACH — A children’s wooden school desk; a Methushek upright piano circa 1915; a “retired” Cinderella Barbie; a honkin’, (modern) heavy-duty construction jobsite radio; a vintage croquet set; a pair of charming, totally girlie mother/daughter lamps: these are only some of the 48 items on which you can bid during the Indian River Habitat for Humanity Home Center Restore’s first-ever Silent Auction event.

The diverse collection includes fascinating one-of-a-kind items, many of them antiques.

Bids can only be placed when you are in the Home Center, between now and Sept. 6. You’ll find these auction treasures on display along with bid books and descriptions of each item, as well as all the auction guidelines.

If you are a “treasure hunter”( and a serious bidder,) you’ll want to mark your calendar so you don’t miss out.

As always, proceeds from Home Center sales go to help Habitat build houses with families in need right here in Indian River County.
