Learn how to Keep Indian River Beautiful at IR mall on Aug. 25

VERO BEACH — Keep Indian River Beautiful, Inc. (KIRB) is teaching the 4 R’s of education (recycle, reduce, reuse, & rethink) by holding an art and craft show with new and up-cycled art and crafts in the Indian River Mall on August 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

KIRB will also be having a rain barrel workshop in the craft room of the KIRB store where the public can come out and paint their purchased rain barrels with the help of local artists and at the same time learn the benefits of collecting and storing rainwater.

This event will work as a “community awareness campaign” teaching the value of “eco-art” and recycling both barrels and water.

Citizens will be able to view and purchase beautiful art from local artists and learn the benefits of the 4 R’s.

There is a limited supply of rain barrels, so please preregister.

To participate as an artist or vendor, please call today at (772) 226-7738 or visit our website at www.KIRB.org.
