SunUp ARC presents new program “Youth Outreach”

VERO BEACH — SunUp ARC presents “Youth Outreach,” a new program for non medwaiver youths in Indian River County.

SunUp ARC is proud to introduce our newest program for young developmentally disabled individuals: “Youth Outreach.”

Twice a month, we will provide respite care for non medwaiver individuals between the ages of 15 and 22.

Our professional staff has designed an exciting curriculum which will feature two main activities per session. Activities will range from Art to Zumba, and everything in between.

The sessions will be held at the West Campus, (previously Sun Up), located at 2455 5th St. SW in Vero Beach.

Thanks to a grant from the John’s Island Foundation, we are able to provide this service at no charge.

Space is limited to 15 individuals.

Applicant is subject to certain criteria.

Fall semester classes will be as follows:

Friday evening sessions from 5-8 p.m. on September 14, October 5, November 2, December 7.

Saturday afternoon sessions from 1-4 p.m. on September 29, October 20, November 17, December 15.

SunUp ARC operates on three campuses, two in Vero Beach and one in Sebastian.

Services include: Adult Day Training; Behavior Services including Behavior Analysis Services and Behavior Assistant Services; Residential Group Homes; Supported Living Services; In-Home Supports and Personal Care Assistance; Transportation; Supported Employment, and Respite Care.

A highly experienced staff of certified professionals provide care to individuals with the goal of enabling each person to reach his or her potential and to lead a rich and fulfilling life.

SunUp ARC is a Non-Profit, 501 (c) 3 agency, dedicated to meeting the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Indian River County.
