Tropical Storm Florence: downgraded to a depression

Aug. 6, 7:55 a.m. – Tropical Storm Florence has been downgraded to a tropical depression. It is now sustaining winds of only 35 m.p.h.


 

Aug. 5, 8:28 a.m. – Tropical Storm Florence has now strengthened and is heading on a track that will possibly hit Florida. Florida is still not in the cone of uncertainty yet because it is still too far out in the Atlantic.

It’s max sustained winds are 60 m.p.h.


 

Tropical Storm Florence has formed in the Atlantic developing from Tropical Depression Six.

The maximum sustained winds are at 40 m.p.h.
