Annie Bell Rucker, 87, died July 31, 2012, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Clearwater and lived in Vero Beach for 4½ years coming from Lake City.
Before retirement, she worked for the hospital in Lake City as a LPN.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vero Beach and the Wellborn Baptist Church in Lake City.
She served on numerous mission trips to Brazil, Thailand and Panama.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Sparks May, of Caledonia, Miss.; sisters-in-law, Adelene Q. Clemons, of Vero Beach, Janet Clemons, of Jacksonville and Jeanette Clemons, of Live Oak; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Sparks and Flavil Rucker; sisters, Doris Leggett and Nadine Quigg; and brothers, William Marvin Clemons, Paul Clemons, C.W. Clemons and Byron Clemons.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Vero Beach, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 11 at Wellborn Baptist Church in Wellborn with interment to follow in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
