INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County is proud to welcome Angela Astrup as the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Angela will coordinate the marketing efforts for the organization, represent the clubs at civic and professional functions, and will assist with securing sponsorships, business partnerships, and grants.
Angela graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Public Relations. She is a member of the Junior League of Indian River County, where she recently served as Vice President of Membership. She is also a member of the Florida Public Relations Society of America and the Young Professionals Network of the Chamber of Commerce.
She is a graduate of Leadership Indian River County and Leadership St. Johns County, and most recently served as the Director of Special Events for Hibiscus Children’s Center.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County, a United Way and Children’s Services Advisory Committee agency, provides quality programs that develop citizenship, leadership, and character in kids ages 6-18 at three clubhouse locations in Indian River County: one each in Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Fellsmere.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is helping kids succeed in school and in life.
