Service dogs to get free eye exams, other dogs for fee to help Dogs For Life

VERO BEACH — Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist Dr. Michelle Stengard, of Vero Beach Veterinary, is providing CERF eye exams free of charge for service dogs as a part of the 5th Annual ACVO/Merial National Service Dog Eye Exam Event. Registration runs through April 30 for the June 2 event.

Non-service dogs can also receive a Canine Eye Registration Foundation exam for a minimum donation of $20 to Dogs For Life. The exam checks for hereditary and other eye conditions.
