“Find Your Fashions at Vero Beach Outlets” on April 7

VERO BEACH —  In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Children’s Home Society of Florida, Treasure Coast Division, is slated to be the exclusive featured charity at the upcoming “Find Your Fashions at Vero Beach Outlets” event on Saturday, April 7.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Children’s Home Society of Florida will be on site at two convenient locations along the center’s promenade to sell grand prize tickets for a weekend getaway at Costa d’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach, FL. A $5 donation is recommended.

Ticket donations will support the nonprofit organization’s programs that are developed to break the cycle of child abuse and provide children and young adults with the opportunity to be safe in our community.

Vero Beach Outlets has planned two special events that day to kick off the spring fashion season, which will attract shoppers from Palm Beach to Brevard County. The “Fashion Finds Scavenger Hunt,” slated from Noon to 2 p.m., features special “price tags” placed throughout the center at participating stores that can be redeemed on site for prizes at the WRMF radio station booth.

During the same time period, a “Two Looks for $200” fashion contest will be featured. Contestants can register on WRMF.com between March 22 and April 6, and click on the Vero Beach Outlets banner ad for details.

“We are excited to help raise awareness for National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Children’s Home Society’s programs,” explained Lisa Quier Wagner, marketing director and partner of EWB Development.

“The grand prize drawing is a great way for the community to make a small donation to support a nonprofit organization that provides critical services for our community’s most vulnerable children and young adults on the Treasure Coast and in Okeechobee County,” Wagner added.
