Help wanted by the Exchange Club in the fight against child abuse

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Exchange Club of Indian River Foundation seeks sponsors for its 36th Annual Exchange Club Blue Water Open Dolphin Mania Charity Fishing Tournament.

All the proceeds of this popular tournament, one of the Treasure Coast’s oldest, benefit the prevention of child abuse in the local community.

The needs of many local children are overwhelming, especially at this time. Although child abuse is significant on the Treasure Coast, it can be prevented.

Please join the foundation in the local fight against child abuse. Five levels of Blue Water Open sponsorship, ranging from $10,000 to $250, are available. Cash contributions in any amount and gifts of door prizes, raffle items, coupons, and gift cards and certificates are welcome.

Persons interested in additional information about sponsoring or participating in the tournament, working for prevention of child abuse, or donating to the foundation may seek further information from tournament chair John Binkley at (772) 532-9375, Exchange Club president R.J. MacMillan at (772) 713-3882, or any member of the club.

Details are also posted at the tournament website, www.BlueWaterOpen.org, or at www.ExchangeClubofIndianRiver.org.
