VERO BEACH — The 61st Annual Under the Oaks Fine Art & Craft Show, hosted by the Vero Beach Art Club, returns to Riverside Park the weekend of March 9-11, 2012. Hours are Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Over 200 fine art and quality crafts artists will display and sell their work at this three-day weekend art event. Approximately 80,000 – 90,000 visitors will attend this top art show which is considered one of the best in the nation.

Over 200 top artists come from as far away as Israel and Canada and throughout the country along with many local Florida artists to participate in this art focused event. Mediums include original work in pottery, sculpture, photography, pastels, ink, craft artisans, painters in all forms and jewelry.
Under the Oaks is set in a beautiful tree- filled city park with lots of shade, easy walking surfaces and just off the Intracoastal which offers cool river breezes and is located on the Barrier Island’s upscale district next to the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Riverside Theatre.
Outdoor cafe dining is on site. There are no bands, bounce houses or loud activities to detract from the artwork, which is the primary focus of this show.
Parking and admittance are free. Shuttle service is available, and the shuttles and park are handicap accessible. Due to city regulations, no pets or alcohol is allowed in the park or the parking areas.
Proceeds underwrite the activities and educational programs of the Vero Beach Art Club, and donations taken at the event will go directly to the Vero Beach Art Club Scholarship Fund, which awards up to five scholarships to high school seniors going on to art related courses at colleges and universities.
