Florida Veterinary League celebrates 15 years with open house

VERO BEACH — The Florida Veterinary League will be having a 15-year celebration and open house this Sunday, Feb. 26, from 1-5 p.m. at their modern, new location at 1360 US 1 in Vero Beach, which is across from Crispers and the 12th St. Publix.

Radio Station The Breeze 93.7 FM will be broadcasting from the party. Mayor Pilar Turner will be making a Proclamation. “Dogs For Life” will be awarding Dr. Darrell Horn with their Corporate Philanthropist Award.

There will be having a pet look-alike contest judged by 93.7 FM at 2:30 p.m. with prizes including: First place – Doggie spa package to Blue Ribbon (grooming, daycare & 2 night stay) – $150; True Colors gift certificate for owner – $100; Commissioned original painting of winner’s pet – $400; Florida Veterinary League gift certificate –  $50; Second Place – Doggie grooming – $45; True Colors gift certificate for owner – $50; Florida Veterinary League gift certificate – $50; Third Place – Florida Veterinary League gift certificate –  $25.

Plus, there will be lots of food, fun, giveaways & interactive tours through our modern new facility!
