Tickets available for Emerson Center Celebrated Speakers Series

VERO BEACH —  Individual speaker tickets are currently on sale for the Emerson Center 2012 Celebrated Speakers Series sponsored by Wilmington Trust.

Scheduled speakers in the remaining Celebrated Speakers Series include Morning Joe talk show host Joe Scarborough on Saturday, March 10, and concluding the series on Saturday, March 31, is Bob Woodward, the most celebrated journalist of our age. Individual tickets are $65 each. Performances are held at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Appearing on March 10 is former Congressman Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.), co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, a show Time Magazine calls “revolutionary” and The New York Times ranked as the top news show of 2008. Morning Joe features interviews with top newsmakers and politicians, in-depth analysis of the day’s biggest stories, and is described by The New Yorker as “appallingly entertaining.”

Previously, Scarborough hosted Scarborough Country, a primetime news show the San Francisco Chronicle called “must-see TV.” In addition to his career in television, Scarborough was the publisher and editor of the award-winning newspaper The Florida Sun.

He is also the author of The New York Times bestseller The Last Best Hope: Restoring Conservatism and America’s Promise, as well as the 2004 book Rome Wasn’t Burnt in a Day, which predicted the collapse of the Republican majority and U.S. economy due to his party’s reckless spending.
