Harry “Ralph” Quimby, 82, died Jan. 28, 2012, at Palm Gardens of Vero Beach.
He was born in Amesbury, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach since 1962, coming from Newburyport, Mass.
Before retirement, he worked as an assembler for Piper Aircraft for 28 years.
He was a member of the Sandy Shoes Square Dance Club and the Camper Dancers Camping Club for more than 40 years.
He and his wife camped throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Survivors include wife of 62 years, Claire Gilman Quimby; daughters, Kathy Jeanne Sanchez, of Vero Beach, Laurianne Borsari, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Sharon Rose Quimby and Anne Marie DiPietro, both of Vero Beach; brother, Arthur Quimby, of Melbourne; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice in Vero Beach, Florida.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Jan. 31 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
