VERO BEACH — A Vero Beach Team ORCA member will host a “Party of Lights” on Sunday, Dec. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. at her Summerplace home to introduce Dr. Edith Widder to the community and raise awareness and funding about research being conducted by ORCA, the Ocean Research and Conservation Association.
Guests will enjoy a true Bayou meal of Etouffee and Gumbo along with “bioluminescent” decorations provided by ORCA scientists and staff – very cool! Learn about the “Secret Lights in the Sea” featuring MacArthur Foundation Award recipient, Dr. Edith Widder.
Admission is $50, which includes a Team ORCA membership. Reservations are limited.
