Richard Currier exhibit at Lighthouse Art and Framing through Dec.

Lighthouse Art and Framing, 1875 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, presents master painter Richard Currier through the month of December. Join us for the Downtown Art Stroll Friday, Dec. 2 from 5:30 p.m. until we all decide to go home. Music, Wine and Snacks – what could be better than this?

Currier’s work is stunning, whether a landscape blazing with color and light, rich and luscious over-sized mangoes on a tablecloth of vibrant red or a portrait that stares you down from the canvas and seems to look right through you, this artist leaves no doubt in your mind that you are observing the work of a genius with a brush. Lighthouse is proud to present Currier, the Grand Prize winner of 2011’s Art Under the Oaks.

Currier is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art in Sarasota and resides locally but exhibits internationally. His paintings are in the collections of museums and serious collectors throughout the country and he is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades. This is a special opportunity to view up close a painter whose potential knows no limits. Currier’s work is nothing short of masterful. If you make it to one gallery on Friday night, this is the show you should not miss.
