VERO BEACH — Mark your calendars for the 10th Annual Quail Valley Charity Cup Week events, to be held this year from Jan. 14-21, 2012. Founded in 2001, the Quail Valley Charity Cup has contributed more than $2.1 million to programs in Indian River County that support children and their education.
All events are open to the public. The Grand Gala is open to event participants only. This is shaping up to be our best Charity Cup week ever.
Scheduled events:
Saturday, Jan. 14: 5K Walk/Run & Kid’s 1-Mile Fun Run, 7 am registration, 7:30 am Kid’s Fun Run and 8:15 am 5K Walk/Run
Monday, Jan. 16: Gourmet Wine & Guest Chef Dinner, 6 pm cocktails and 7:15 pm dinner
Wednesday, Jan. 18: Shopping for Children with the OceanSide Business Association, 10 am to 7 pm. P “ART”icipation Show & Sale at 5:30 pm
Thursday, Jan. 19: Charity Duplicate Bridge Game, 9 am registration, 9:30 am bridge begins
Thurs-Sat. Jan. 19-21: Charity Cup Tennis Tournament, 7:30 am to 3 pm
Fri-Sat Jan. 20-21: Charity Cup Golf Tournament, 9 am shotgun start
Saturday, Jan. 21: Grand Gala, 6 pm to 10 pm
