VERO BEACH – The Downtown, Dine and Design District (3D) and Main Street Vero Beach present the First Friday Gallery Stroll, Friday, Dec. 2 along 14th Avenue and beyond from 5 to 8 p.m. for your Christmas shopping pleasure.
See artists demonstrating their artwork and view the special exhibits at the nine galleries on 14th Avenue in Historic Downtown Vero Beach.
The event is free and open to the public. Information cards listing the dates and locations of participating art galleries are available at the galleries and many of the other businesses in the 3D District and beyond.
A few of the events are listed below.
• Tropic Art and Frame introduces Cynci Cutter, a pastel and oil artist.
• Lighthouse Art & Framing will feature oils by Richard Currier, the winner of Best in Show at the 2011 “Under the Oaks”.
• Gallery 14 presents Our Beautiful Ocean exhibit celebrating the wonders of the sea to benefit Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
