Treasure Coast Chorale presents 10th Anniversary Concert Nov. 13

VERO BEACH — The Treasure Coast Chorale will offer an all-new concert on Sunday, Nov. 13, called “Here Comes the Bride.” Held at the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach, doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. evening performance.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Chorale will sing music traditionally played at weddings including The Prayer and the anthems written for the Royal weddings of both Prince Charles and his son Prince William.

The 80-voice Treasure Coast Chorale incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2001 and for the past 10 years has gifted the Vero community with four wonderful concerts a year carefully planned to please everyone.

Their musical repertoire ranges from Broadway to Irish to Holiday, Country and Patriotic with inspirational and familiar anthems added. Every concert, including Handel’s magnificent “Messiah” in December, is free to the public with only a good-will offering taken.

“Our audiences always fill the auditorium and their gracious contributions allow us to continue providing the music that they love,” says Michael Carter, Music Director of the Chorale. “It’s a two-way affair. We love to sing to them and their enthusiasm raises the level of our performance.”

The Nov. 13 concert will present some singular moments as there will be an opportunity for couples in the audience to renew their wedding vows to music of the Festival strings and brass quartet.

Also featured will be soloists and musicians Judy Carter, Dave Mundy, Richie Mola, Brady Johnson, Emilio Rutllant and “The Dolls” singing Ave Maria and Going to the Chapel of Love.

There is no admission charge but the audience will be asked to give a generous offering to help offset the costs of this musical gift to the community.
