Jason Troisi, 31, of Vero Beach, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.
He was born March 21, 1980 in Newton, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach in 1986, coming from New Jersey.
Troisi had attended grade school at St. Helen Catholic School, where he served as an altar boy and Vero Beach High School class of 1998.
He was the owner of Flummin Inc. which installed and serviced water slides for amusement parks.
Survivors his son, Anthony Troisi, of Vero Beach; parents, Richard and Helene Troisi, of Vero Beach; sister, Corinne Troisi, of Vero Beach; maternal grandmother, Margaret Nielsen, of Vero Beach; aunts, Marguerite Hayes, of Vero Beach, Laura Hemmings, of Orlando; uncles, William Nielsen, of Dover, N.J.; Robert Nielsen, of Mine Hill, N.J., and Peter Nielsen, of Vero Beach; nephew, Aaron and niece, Kyra.
Troisi was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Harold Nielsen and paternal grandparents, Josephine and John Troisi.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, Sept. 16 from 4-6 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
