VERO BEACH — Vero Beach native and RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen has headlined five consecutive years of sell-outs at his hometown Concert, one of the highlights of the annual benefit Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest. The Concert continues to grow this year as Owen welcomes Grammy-nominated RCA Nashville recording artist Chris Young to take the stage on Saturday, Dec. 10 as his special guest at Holman Stadium.
Young has emerged as one of country music’s rising stars, with his last four singles reaching No. 1 on the charts. These include “Tomorrow,” which was recently certified Digital Gold, and “Gettin’ You Home,” which earned Young his first Grammy nomination for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. Young is eager to team up with Owen to support the Mardy Fish Foundation and Jake Owen Foundation.
The Mardy Fish Foundation, established in 2006, mission is to provide children access to after school exercise, nutritional and enrichment programs in a safe environment to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives so they can achieve their dreams.
“Chris Young is a close friend and an incredible musician,” says Owen, “Mardy and I are so excited to have him lend his support to the foundations and showcase his talent for the Vero Beach community.”
In June, Fish and Owen announced that Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest will return to Vero Beach at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club and Holman Stadium formerly at Vero Beach Sports Village on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9-10 to raise funds for the Mardy Fish Foundation and the Jake Owen Foundation.
Fish and Owen are proud to present an exciting two-day event featuring a Kids’ Tennis Clinic, Reception with live and silent auction and Tennis Exhibition featuring Mardy Fish and other tennis professionals on Friday, Dec. 9. A Concert with Jake Owen and Chris Young will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7p.m.
Tickets are on sale now. Tennis Exhibition featuring Event Host Mardy Fish tickets are $75 for Box Seats (reserved chair-back seat) and $35 for General Admission tickets (bleacher seat). Tickets for the Jake Owen Concert with Special Guest Chris Young are $100 for VIP Premier Seats (on field – first 15 rows), $75 for Premier (on field – starting at row 16), $65 for Pit Area (standing room only), $35 for Reserved Seats (stadium seating) and $25 for General Admission (stadium seating).
