Man suspected of sexual assault outside library

VERO BEACH — A 45-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman outside a library, was arrested early Friday, authorities said. Vero Beach police arrested Carlos Tito Caban, of the 1500 block of 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, on a charge of sexual battery. Caban was being held Friday at the Indian River County Jail without bond until his first court appearance, scheduled for Saturday, officers said. Police responded to reports of a sexual assault about 7 a.m. Friday just outside of the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st Street.
