INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Old Dixie Highway north of 53rd Street will be shut down beginning Thursday, July 14, for an unknown amount of time.
A contractor will be performing various tasks to improve the street as part of the 53rd Street Roadway Improvement Project. Such tasks include roadway, drainage, and intersection improvements.
A detour route will be posted and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
