Robert Vernon Radin was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Edwin and Garnett Lunsford Radin.
He came to Vero Beach in the early 1930’s.
He graduated from Vero Beach High School, class of 1945.
After serving in the Marine Corps he then attended and graduated from University of Nebraska College of Medicine with his medical degree and practiced in general medicine in Lyons, Neb.
After several years he returned to the University of Nebraska where he received his psychiatric specialty.
Dr. Radin returned to Vero Beach and practiced medicine from the 1970’s until his retirement.
Radin was known to his friends and family as Bobby was an avid hunter, fisherman and athlete.
He excelled in tennis and played competitive tennis for most of his childhood and adulthood.
Radin married Frances Weston Covey in 1954 and was the proud father of five beautiful children: daughters Janet Haun, Suzanne Runge (Markaaron), Stefanie Young (Bruce); sons Richard and Stephen.
Survivors include his sister Maxine Case (Arthur) and his brother Ben Radin (Carmen); twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Radin was predeceased by his parents and brother.
