Mary C. Chabot, 93, died April 24, 2011, at Sterling House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Boston, and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years, coming from Decatur, Ill. During World War II, she was an executive secretary at the Boston Naval Shipyard.
She was of the Catholic faith and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach and St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur.
She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Lance Chabot, of Niceville, Dennis Chabot, of Williamsburg, Va., and Ronald Chabot, of Urbana, Ill.; twin daughters, Suzanne Chabot, of Vero Beach and Clare Zazkowski, of Aptos, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Fred R. Chabot.
Services will be at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur.
A memorial service will be at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur.
