Karoline Wicker Mills, 85, died March 10, 2011, at Willow Brooke Court, Indian River Estates.
She was born in Alexandria, Va., and lived in Vero Beach for seven years, coming from Ocean Spring, Md.
She retired as administrative assistant after 18 years with the American Red Cross in Alexandria.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi of Jobs Daughters in Alexandria and was active in the Republican Party in Maryland and Indian River County.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Mills; and brother, William A. Wicker.

A memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
