VERO BEACH — Italian born artist, Ivo David, founder of the “Fusionism Movement” and a Vero Beach resident, will show his work from March 30 to April 16 at a multi-artist exhibition titled “Fine Tuned” at the A.E. Backus Gallery in Fort Pierce. This exhibition will showcase his recent work of vibrant paintings depicting local scenes around Indian River and Fort Pierce. David’s work and his amazing life story has been featured in local publications, and has been shown at the Artist Guild Gallery, on the most recent Vero Beach Art Club’s Art Trail, at the Art by the Sea show at the Vero Beach Museum of Art and at the Backus Gallery last year. His paintings have also been shown in many European galleries including the prestigious Biennale Internazionale in Florence, Italy.
David is a classically trained artist from Italy who began his work as a youngster following in his father’s footsteps and at one time even thought of being a monk. He is a charismatic artist whose work is stunningly visual, and filled with emotion.
