James John Pagliarulo, 74, of Sebastian, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at his home.
Pagliarulo was born May 29, 1936, in New Britain, Conn., and moved to Sebastian five years ago from Dania.
He had been a general contractor and partner in Pag Brothers Builders in South Florida.
He was a member of the Italian-American Club in Vero Beach and volunteered at Indian River Habitat For Humanity.
Pagliarulo had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
His survivors include his nephews Mark Pagliarulo, of Valkaria and Greg Pagliarulo, of Dania; niece Lisa West of Eustis; five grandnephews and grandnieces; sister Mary Brayton of Dania; step-daughter Debbie Pagliarulo, of South Florida; step-son Steven Pagliarulo, of Charleston and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Jimmy Pagliarulo, brother Joseph, and sisters Millie and Carmen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Indian River Habitat For Humanity, 4568 N. US Hwy 1, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian.
Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Sebastian, Florida.
