VERO BEACH — Presbyterian Women of the First Presbyterian Church will hold their Second Annual Spring Fling Luncheon and Style Show on Saturday, March 19 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the church’s McAfee Hall at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard, Vero Beach. Culinary Capers is catering the delicious luncheon. The style show will feature models wearing fashions provided by Patchington and Talulah’s Boutique, and jewelry designed by Ginny Bishop and Alice McKenna. Children will model clothing hand-tailored by the Sewing and Crafts Circle.
Items for sale in the Mini-Boutique include jewelry created by Ginny Bishop and Alice McKenna and children’s clothing, doll clothes, and handmade treasures by the women of the church. Door prizes and a raffle will add to the fun.
Tickets are $20 per person, of which $10 is a qualified charitable deduction.
All proceeds benefit the Mission projects of Presbyterian Women, which last year donated $11,500 to local and international charities. Presbyterian Women is an independent, self-sufficient organization within the Church, and hosts two special events each year; the Holiday Bazaar to be held Saturday, November 19, and the Spring Fling.
Tickets are available at the church office and after Sunday worship services.
