INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Did you know that a dog’s wagging tail doesn’t always mean he’s happy while a yawning canine may actually be more stressed than sleepy? If you’d like to become more “fluent” in understanding a dog’s body language, come to a talk at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB&IRC) from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 4.
The Humane Society’s Pet Behavior Coordinator Connie Ellis will demonstrate how to read a canine from head to tail. Her talk will take place at the Humane Society’s Adoption and Education Center located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach.
This is a free class but space is limited so please call (772) 388-3331 ext. 18 to reserve your seat.
