Irish American Society to present ShaeLaurel Irish Music and Dance

VERO BEACH — The Florida Irish American Society will present ShaeLaurel, Irish Music and Dance, on Sunday, March 13 at 2 pm and 6 pm at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th Street, Vero Beach. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cultural Council of Indian River County. Tickets are $25 for the Lower Orchestra Level and $20 for the Upper Mezzanine Level.  Call 772-564-5537 to reserve your seats.

ShaeLaurel has thrilled audiences all over the world with their amazing talent and dazzling showmanship.  Performing a unique blend of fast fiddling Irish and contemporary music, ShaeLaurel’s fun and comedic stage show has thrilled audiences around the world: from the US to Canada, Europe, the UK and China.  Their high-energy performances feature an amazing blend of musical acrobatics and traditional Irish Step and American Dance.

The FIAS builds friendships in the Vero Beach community by promoting Irish spirit, culture and appreciation for Irish heritage. Fellsmere among towns impacted by Hurricane Irma to get infrastructure award

Fellsmere is among several Florida towns that will receive an infrastructure award that will go toward restoration and improvement projects following the damage left behind by the 2017 Hurricane Irma, state officials said Friday. Gov. issues state of emergency; beaches to close ahead of Isaias

Friday evening update: A hurricane warning and a storm surge watch were issued for Indian River County Friday afternoon. County officials will order voluntary evacuations for residents Saturday in mobile homes, low lying areas and on the barrier island. County officials will open three shelters at 2 p.m. Saturday.
